Although no physical furnace will be displayed on the stand, all eyes will be on the FOX EVO, the new generation of MAPPI’s best-selling mid-size furnace line. Redesigned from the ground up, FOX EVO introduces a new intuitive interface, greater operational flexibility, and a re-engineered process control that integrates MHS, ATI, and GHBS technologies for maximum thermal precision and energy optimization.
Like a modern electric supercar, FOX EVO combines intelligent power management and responsiveness: it consumes very little energy when idle yet delivers extraordinary acceleration when production peaks demand it. Its performance approaches the theoretical minimum energy required to temper glass, proof of MAPPI’s mastery in transforming energy into measurable quality.
Smart tempering: data, precision, and sustainability
At the heart of this philosophy lies the MEC – Mappi Edge Computing system, which processes production data in real time, providing operators with clear insights to optimize cycles, reduce waste, and minimize energy use. Working in tandem, the MEC Inspector adds another dimension to quality: it evaluates glass even before tempering, detecting imperfections and alerting the operator to prevent defects downstream, and then certifies the finished product on exit.
This complete loop of analysis, control, and certification defines MAPPI’s concept of smart tempering, where sustainability is not a claim but a quantifiable result. “Our furnaces are designed to respond quickly to change, to be efficient, reactive and sustainable, without compromise,” explains Mammaro. “That’s what we mean by ‘Beyond Glass Perfection’: giving our customers the intelligence and control they need to grow.”
