Automatically manages the temperature of the furnace through a network of electronically controlled sensors. This allows the temperatures to remain constant and focused only in areas where there is the presence of glass.
Market standard is to have lenghtwise or sidewhise heating elements that are for sure much more economical for the machine builder but on the other hands gives a lot less control on a specifc areas. Basically they heat also where there is no glass with the side effect of overhating the roller.
This will cause different temperature on ceramic roller and consequent defect on tempered glass.
With Mappi MHS small heating elements (each of 300 x 600 mm) allow a pin point control of the temperature; each heating element is equipped with an independently managed thermocouple.
MHS uses 70 temperature controls (35 top + 35 bottom), each temperature control correspond to an heating cell, consequently, 70 heating cells that allow us to have a very precise energy management, and the better thermal and energy efficiency.
In partnership with Gefran and Kantal we developed a new and even more precise heating system maintaining the 300×600 mm heating cell matrix being able to.
In every Mappi furnace you can find the increase of the electrical efficiency and an even smoother heating curve thanks to the new Gefran static relay and a special alloy from Kantal.
